To be eligible for our services, a client's gross income must not exceed $60,000/year (1-3 person household) or $84,000/year (4+ person household). Generally, if clients are eligible for Legal Aid, they are not eligible for our services. We have helped people who have exhausted their Legal Aid, however.

  • Seniors Abuse & Information Line (SAIL). Speak confidentially to a professional intake worker about concerns for the well-being of a senior, receive information, and learn about program offerings. Call 1 866 437 1940, 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Friday. Language interpretation available.
  • Legal Programs. Free legal advice to eligible low-income older adults (55+) in BC through Elder Law Clinic, Advance Planning Clinics, and Legal Advocacy Program. Language interpretation available.
  • Victim Services. Community-based Victims Services program provides telephone-based, province-wide support to older adults 50+ who have experienced crime and/or abuse. Language interpretation available.
