Provides free individual, couples, family, and group counselling for alcohol and drug issues for youth, adults, and seniors.
Offers skill-building groups, alcohol/drug recovery groups, and groups for affected friends and family, as well as school presentations, and education prevention activities in the community. The Seniors Counselling Program provides assessment, counselling, and follow-up on an outreach basis for seniors age 55 and over who are experiencing difficulties with alcohol and/or prescription drugs, and are unable to come to the office. Services for Indo-Canadians include counselling for individuals, couples, and families dealing with addiction, as well as education and prevention services; service is available in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. Intake hours are 9 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 3 pm Monday to Friday. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Attendance at an orientation session is required to access all services and occurs at 4 pm on most Wednesdays. Funded by Fraser Health.
