We are committed to providing a website that respects your privacy. This statement summarizes the privacy policy and practices on North Shore Emergency Management is subject to British Columbia’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).

Privacy overview

We do not automatically gather any personal information from you. This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily through contacting us via email or online forms.

When you visit, our web server and Google Analytics automatically collects a limited amount of standard information essential to the operation and evaluation of our website. This includes:

Information collected through volunteer applications

The personal information you submit through our volunteer applications – including email address and contact information – is collected by us solely for the purpose of responding to your application. Personal information will only be used for the purpose to which it was collected, unless its release is authorized by its owner or is compelled by a Court or an agent duly authorized under another Act.
